We've finally come out of our winter hibernation and welcomed spring. This is a long overdue post. I always say, I'll get better about posting but it's hard because I would much rather spend my time with these two.

This past week has been such a hard week on our nation and our neighbors. My heart breaks for all the suffering endured with all the tragic events. I can also say, I have never been more proud to be a part of Central Texas. The overwhelming amount of support that came out to in support for West was truly heartfelt. They have received so much that, they are having a hard time finding places to store it. I know the coming weeks are going to be a very trying time on this community and I pray they stay strong and cling to their faiths.
I even took the plunge and deactivated my Facebook page. If you are one that enjoyed seeing photos of my kids, I've joined the Instagram world @sgdomel. You can follow us there. Facebook had come to a point, where it wasn't fun anymore. It seemed like people cared more about their political views, bashing other people's sports teams (aka Aggies moving to the SEC) and many other things then truly keeping in touch with friends. I had a friend post a saying on her Pinterest that said "So many young women treat life as a constant status update. It's as if they're more concerned with how their lives look than how their lives feel."
